Being a military wife/GF is hard, he’ll be gone long enough for you to forget how much you care for him but I will tell you this; however you handle his absence during deployments, your feelings will comeback when he gets home… even if you think you’ve “found” someone else. I served 23 years and I’ve found it’s hard for the stateside spouse to remain committed. I hope you have the strength that’s required as a military significant other. I honestly wish you both the happiest ending to your stories of life!
