Did you know you can go to the post office and ask, it’s dependent on the weight. Ig your mailing a letter or a bday card one will do. If it can’t go through a sorter because of a wax seal/ ribbon or to tick it will require more. Stamps are not cheap😭

Idk if anyone knew this, but I like to share facts, Stamps were invented because if you wanted to mail a letter you had to pay the postman and it was a long process so we use stamps as a "receipt" that the mail was already paid for. its also why they do that stamp over the stamp.

If this is a large envelope it’s 3 stamps to start then after 3 ounces you add another stamp.

Even if you don't end up putting enough stamps, they will still send your mail and they will send you a little receipt back that says you need to go pay the two stamps or whatever.Have you . you good girl.

a normal sized letter just needs one. anything that is bulky would need more and possibly a "non machinable" mark/stamp(this means it's hand sorted vs going through the automation), these, I'd personally go to the po for them to see what it needs vs wasting a bunch of stamps and still possibly having it delayed due to getting stuck in the automation.
