I live in the next town over and people don’t get married young. We got married at 24/26 and were practically children compared to our peers who are just getting married now (early 30s).

Huh..? This is normal. I started dating my fiancé my freshman year of college in 2017 & we just got engaged in 2024. Most college couples wait till they are both established in their careers & financially stable to get engaged. This is the norm & an odd reach

ok im from the same area as them, my fiancee and i started dating in college in 2018 and got engaged in 2024 (6 yrs later) and are getting married this year, 7 yrs of dating. so 1 less than them. its a normal timeline here

This is totally normal everywhere but the south. Most people like to be fully established before getting married. The south is much cheaper as well, so people can buy houses & afford kids at a young age there.
