the idea then law enforcement or any public servant can make demands of a citizen because they think they have some sorta power over citizens tells us how broken the system is the Constitution was designed to control the gov not for the gov to control citizens we have lost our way as Americans

Law-enforcement is losing respect due to the Democratic party the Democratic Party is causing all the chaos and disrespect to law-enforcement and making their jobs harder. These people need to understand that law-enforcement there to help but the way the Democratic Party makes it seem is that they’re there to cause problems.

An officer wouldn’t need “probable cause” as he said to temporarily detain him, only reasonable suspicion. And I don’t know where he is, but some states have “stop and identify” statutes in line with that.

It's an insult to a police officer to ask him, "Who are you?" A man gets out of a police car wearing a police uniform, with everything that suggests he's a police officer, and you come to ask him, "Who are you?" You give yourself the freedom to ask questions, but deny others the freedom to ask you questions.

Thats the problem of modern society, we want protection, but we don’t give enough power to protect us. I still don’t get it, why it’s not a thing in US that you have to identify your self if a Police officer ask you. Even if they have no reason for that 🤷♂️same with drivers license. Don’t get it at all. Maybe I’m just too European 😅
