War where one party is clearly a dominant military while its opposition is a an underdog primarily protected by its citizens, where big country invades small country, and where big country has big players with vested interests, is not a new story. It didn’t start on Oct 7th and it didn’t start in ‘48. It existed long before that. There are countless historical and fictional examples of this exact scenario. Considering the script was hammered out and approved by WB long before October 7th, I wouldn’t go as far as to call it an Israel Palestine reference as much as I’d considering Israel Palestine to loosely fit the same mold on the surface. However, obviously, you’re free to make your own interpretations. As far as the movie goes, the war could be an allegory to a number of, like I said, fictional and historical events. U.S.-backed entities invading other countries with marginalized populations isn’t new. As far as Israel Palestine, Superman, as with most cases, would not choose either side broadly. He’d pick one side or another in isolated incidents simply to prevent loss of life on both sides while doing what he can to dismantle both governments. Also, people are quick to forget that the heroes who showed up to save the day were literally American-sponsored heroes anyways lol. I digress.

That’s what made me cry the most in the theater 😭 I just wish we had a Superman to help everyone on earth. Not for borders, for fame, or for politics, but for what’s right. Because that’s what makes us human. This movie brought back some hope in humanity for me
