Ok but let’s stop using the term ‘sub Sahara’ is not a neutral or purely geographic term it was popularized during colonial rule to separate Black Africa from the so-called ‘civilized’ North. No one would call Poland and Italy ‘Sub-Alpine Europe’ or split Europe into ‘Above the Danube’ and ‘Below the Danube’ as if they’re two unrelated worlds!!!

To be hired as a high fashion model you have to be tall and extremely skinny and only Sudanese and Ethiopian women are build like that in Africa. It's not really about their face features or skin color. But most women in Western African or South African tend to be short and more full figured so they don't really fit modeling criteria.
