The problem isn’t income though, it’s the cost of living :(

This is a little off topic from the video, but what does PROF wear when he is lounging around the house or doing yard work or running an errand to Walmart?

This 1930s suit cost around £650 and around £100 for tailoring (from what I remember)

After expenses that $1500 looks like $100. Would need to save for months to afford that suit if they didn't spend their money on anything else.

Sure, but then taking to account the cost of rent or someone’s mortgage along with their car note along with their food along with their utilities and electric and that is if they spend literally nothing else on actually living

$1500 is near the most you should ever pay for a non-bespoke suit. This pricing is pretty out of pocket. In most cities, you can find a fully functional, stylish, well made suit for $800. $550 if you’re on a budget.

Prof, is it true that when wearing a toxedo (evening wear), the sleeves of your shirt shouldn't be visible at all under your jacket, unless you're moving? So when standing still the jacket falls on the wrist bone and when moving the shirt sleeve reveals itself for an inch or two?

DE FACTO :
Yall he’s not saying buy a suit with a debit card, you can literally use a credit card to buy $1500 or pay on account to the store you bought it from. Like he said it’s only for the average American making 50,000

Bring Back Suits :
Suitsupply has never disapointed me with an average of $600 for a good suit with amazing fabrics. It may be a chain but the staff always take a lot of time to listen to my needs. Obviously not the same care you get at a local tailor, but when i spend $600 at my local tailor im lucky if i get a polyester wool blend.

Problem is, that would take away eating and rent for most. But, saving just $150 a month, at the end of the year you have $1800. Like I told my son, it’s better to wait and save for quality than settle for mediocrity. You may have to wait a bit, just you’re setting up for a lifetime, not just the here and now.

Gym guy, unfortunately. I've bought 3 suits in the last 5 years. I've outgrown the first two. I want a made-to-measure but my frame is going to change size so dramatically I'll only be able to wear it a few times Am I cooked

Depends on your country imo. If you live in an expensive country the tailoring will be price will be higher. I live in south asia and you could get a super high quality suit for 200 usd. If u look at the right shops.
