This has happened before. They denied money from Biden because he's a Democrat. They ended up taking the money, only so that blue states wouldn't receive the money. Then gave it to the police department, you know to fight the illegals. Then, it was the Mexicans that showed up to help! I'm so tired of Texas!

Y'all (comparatively tiny) FEMA was grossly underfunded and understaffed thanks to a GOP-dominated Congress even before DJT was elected and decided to take a saw to it, so even suggesting any of this is on FEMA and always outdated flood mapping – and does OBE/overcome by events ring a bell? – versus state and local govts. as well as property owners amounts to what is at least adjacent to reporting malpractice under the circumstances.

surely there is a way to be honest about risk of natural disaster & keep housing prices “affordable”… might require cutting profit margins but I believe in a world where ppl can afford a house & also don’t die in it due to undisclosed weather risks
