When I was a new hire and giving too big of portions, the kitchen lead on grill that day literally yelled at me so loudly in front of customers after I called for more chicken. Like so loud that it echoed through the entire store and shocked the customers. I had to excuse myself to cry in the walk-in. 💀

that food runs out quick and fast it’s portioned for a reason we’re supposed to sell a certain amount of chicken per day and if the lbs of chicken aren’t adding up and the store is loosing $$$ it adds up quick

They had certain measurements for portions of every item. So we have to stick with the portioning unless the guest asks for more. We have to correctly portion, meats, queso, guacamole, and shredded cheese because those are the most expensive to lose.
