homemade donuts >> recipe👇🏼 dough.. 1 cup whole milk, warm 2 1/4 tsps active dry yeast 1/3 cup granulated sugar, use 1 tbsp for the yeast mixture 2 large eggs, room temp. 2 tsps vanilla extract 4 cups ap flour 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp salt 6 tbsp unsalted butter, softened oil, for frying biscoff spread, for filling biscoff cookies, crushed Pour the warm milk into a mixing bowl and stir in the yeast and 1 tbsp of the sugar. Let it sit for about 5 min, until the mixture becomes slightly foamy. In a large bowl, add the remaining sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Mix until everything is well combined. Pour in the yeast mixture and mix until a dough forms. Add the butter and knead for 8 min until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1hr. Once the dough has doubled in size, gently punch it down and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Roll the dough out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out the donuts using a cookie cutter or a cup. Place on parchment paper and cover the donuts loosely. Let them rise again for about 30 to 45 min until puffy. Heat the oil to 350F in a deep pot. Carefully place the donuts into the hot oil, working in small batches so the pan isn’t overcrowded. Fry the donuts for about 1 to 2 min on each side, until golden brown. Remove them and place the donuts on a paper towel-lined plate or a wire rack to drain. Allow the donuts to cool slightly, then coat them in the crushed biscoff cookies. Pipe biscoff spread into the center of each donut. Enjoy while warm:) #fyp #baking #trending #foryoupage #viral
