Water, mix it in first and then add the milk give another good mix and ur good to go. My son was on these too x

My son used to be on this - if you use a mam bottle I would recommend the X teat. It’s made for thicker fluids. Even when dissolving the powder in water first the milk gets thicker the longer it’s left!

I’d add it in with the formula and do a hot shot and shake it very well then mix with the rest of the water! Upping the teat size unfortunately made the reflux much worse

I add it whilst the water is still hot, if you use a prep machine put it into the hot shot put the lid on it shake really well if not it clumps up and then add the cold water into it. X

My doctor told me mix it with the water first and give it a good shake, then add on the formula and it worked fine 🙂

If you put it in less milk than recommended it will thicken the milk Becuase it has a thickening agent in it . Put it in once your bottle is made but don’t shake it give it a swill so it goes into the milk then shake , stops it from sticking xx

I’ve sacked off putting it in the bottle because it just keep blocking the teat and when I go up one it chokes him. I’ve dropped back to teat size one, give him bottle and then give him the gaviscon through a syringe. Although he’s on formula I prepare the gaviscon like it says to for breastfed babies. It’s so much better, takes longer obvs but he’s much happier with it that way and when he spits up a bit now it’s like jelly so I can see it’s working better than when I did it in the formula x

I add it no problem and don’t get anything left. Are you making sure it’s fully dissolved ? I have a spare scoop and stir it in the milk or swirl the milk around until all of it is dissolved in the milk.
