what do they ask when you apply for a course where the subject isnt a criteria to get in? like in pbs i believe you’re not required to have had psychology as a subject in school beforehand

My daughter was pooled for Cambridge in January but this did not involve being reinterviewed, she just got an offer from a different college.

If i were to go abroad and try to study there, would they try and test my English by using ‘big’ words? Because my English is good to a point where i would survive studying in English, but i’m not that advanced in using or understanding “big” words, i feel as an exchange student they’d watch out for that, but could it also be a slight disadvantage to get in?

i’m debating applying to cambridge for a course which has a 49% offer rate… should i do it? i don’t want to ‘waste’ one of my options and take the risk of losing a possible place which could’ve been a backup that i would’ve gotten into.. i got 999999887 at GCSE and should be predicted anything between AAA (hopefully higher) to A*A*A* (course requirement is A*AA) - please help! i’m not very confident and i think that might be restricting me.. i’m so passionate about my subject and love academia but really don’t know if im good enough
