I travel to China several time per year on business. The general US public has little understanding of how far ahead they are technologically. I paid for meals table side via handheld around 2015. I didn't see that her for many years after.

I’m Chinese. Never have I heard of such a thing as “doctor’s appointments” before moving to the U.S. for my master. I’m like, “why should I make an appointment to see a doctor? I’m sick. I’m seeing one for treatment not for fun.”

when I was in China, once I got fish bone stuck at my throat, I went to a community clinic near where I lived, the nurse checked on me, and took ot out in seconds, and off I went, she said it was FREE🥰

In china, you get to see a doctor whenever you’re sick, and you can get all tests done and receive the most of the results right away. Then you bring your results to the doctor again. Once you get the prescriptions from doctor, you can pick up your medication at pharmacy in hospital.
