I still have to write a check for rent. My landlord is in his 80s and manages properties for a 3rd party real estate investor. Numerous times, my check has been cashed and I’ll get a harassing text that I didn’t drop off my rent check for the month. Turns out it would get cashed and posted to the wrong address (investor owns dozens). My address is on my checks bc I had to buy checks when I moved in bc who has checks in 2025?? No apology, just said I need to also put it in an envelope noting my address lol
