help a girl out, I havent had mine in 5 years and went to doctors like LOTS of doctors- I rejected the birth control because of the weight gain factor but also they didnt tell me why, and what was causing this except low body fat, and now theyre saying hormones cuz there is nothing wrong w my uterus or eggs they say, and want me to do a hormone test but Idk if its even really worth it atp

can i ask something? i lost my period 4 years ago. i went to a doctor 4 months ago she said “you are perfectly normal, your uterus is just small/underdeveloped” and recommended birth control. i used birth control for a month then my period came back. i was sooo happy. then next month not even a single sign of it. im really sad bcs i really want my period back but doctors are telling me that my hormones are normal but is not having periods normal? almost 5 years? i dont know what to do anymore.

I was on the bc for 28 days bc of amenorrhea too but the whole time I was so tired exhausted and agitated I felt like i was on drug the period in the day before I can take the pill was exhausting and the moment I took i feel better but only for like 3-4 hours then it repeated. The moment I finished all of the pills i feel a lot better, got some bleeding but it was definitely not a real period, never touching the pills again
