I took this video this morning at ICE’s Broadview Facility. Agents threw protesters to the ground, dragged people, shot pepper rounds, and launched tear gas canisters into crowds of protesters, legal observers, and journalists. Several protesters were dragged into the facility and still haven’t been released. ICE agents on the roof took photos of everyone present. ICE vans and cars left the facility this morning to snatch parents off the streets, all for the “crime” of not having been born in this country. This is fascism. I hope you’ll join me and @AndreforChi at Broadview next Friday. We cannot be silent.
