@bitesofdiabetes: Yeah so easy. And this is only some of the struggles I deal with on a daily basis. T2D is the most harshly judged and misunderstood diseases out there. Just because it’s invisible doesn’t mean it’s not so very real, our struggles live with us. And so many of us lose our life because of the lack of emphathy and education from those who are suppose to help us. We are gaslit from our medical professions or just down right ignored because we MUST be lying. To all my t2ds you matter, you are not at fault, and don’t let others from seeking the medical attention you need and deserve. Your problems ARE real. Thank you diabestie for the inspo! @MrPerfect📊🐾🏋🏾🧃🇬🇾 #type2diabetes #diabeticlife #insulinresistance #diabetic #t2d
there needs to be more t2 on tik tok showing all this.... too many t1

OMG YES THANK YOU. I hate how SOME T1D act like T2D have it so easy just because it’s a little less of a struggle. All of us have a disease/disability why are we arguing over who has it worse like can’t we come together, we’re the only ones who can mostly understand each other😭.

Currently dealing with hypoglycemia. Been doing IF for months. I lost weight and my A1C came down but I’m afraid of putting too much sugar in my body in trying to treat the hypo.

Thanks for sharing so much and so clearly speaking about what so many of us T2 folks struggle to explain or sometimes even understand for ourselves

Once you get to the point you restore insulin sensitivity and levels are back to normal ranges. It can be more manageable, just hard work for a little.

I was diagnosed T2D when I was 39( high cholesterol, fatty liver, UTI, blurry eyes and GERD). I used to be scared that I will have liver or heart failure or won’t be able to afford my maintenance but now I just focus on improving my health. I’m 43 now and my A1c is 6.2 and everything else is normal but still under medication. I will do everything to live longer for my kids.
