@traveltomtom: Would you do the Polar Plunge? 0° degrees water!? 😱🥶 More than just a jump in ice cold water… The polar plunge is a whole event. It is written down on the itinerary of any arctic expedition! A moment many passengers on board an expedition to the Arctic are looking forward to, some with excitement, some with anxiety! But I would be lying to you if I told you I wasn't excited for this one. I knew I was going to love it! I love ice baths, cold water lakes, so I figured a Polar plunge couldn't be that bad. However, the whole event gets you pumped up thanks to the crew of @Quark Expeditions The music, the announcements on the radio, the extra safety measures, the photographer lined up, the glacier background. I must say this was a memorable moment. My first polar plunge and hopefully many more to come! #polarplunge #quarkexpeditions
