Growing up, I’d watch my dad spend $400+ every time he took us (a family of 4) out to a “nice” restaurant in America- and that didn’t even include valet, cocktails, or tip. Meanwhile, here I am in Abuja… full off shrimp and burgers, sipping my piña colada, and spending under $30.
