If everyone in these comments fully listen to the daughters they clearly said that a guy does live there with they mom and he the one that brought these people there but they working on getting him to leave too. True they need to be there daily with her and take turns carrying for her but if you never dealt with someone that has that type of medical problem you don’t understand what the family goes through. Just because she has dementia doesn’t mean she can’t live in her house. If you can keep a person in there environment that they are familiar with it keeps them from deteriorating faster. Why put them in a facility? The daughters had someone there with her he took advantage of the situation.

I really wished that folks really understood POA’s and that you also need a Will! It’s so many people dealing with parents with Dementia that like my siblings felt as long as Momma could talk and move around that she could stay at her house! But this right here is why I packed Momma up and moved her in with my boys and me! And That Was That! Sadly, Folks can tell when something is wrong and will take advantage of it just like these people! Scammers on the phone and folks like this and mad because the family showed up! If someone else stays that they know it’s important to trust them! Lord Help Any/Everyone going through this!

What people don’t understand is when people have dementia and you take them away from their daily routine and their environment that they’ve been in it can be detrimental for them, but I see a lot of y’all having things to say about why she still living there that is why because that’s what she’s familiar with and you have to keep them in their familiar environment is best for their mental. What should be done is that they should find someone responsible if not them because they probably have their own families and have to work to keep a roof over their own heads and things of that matter to stay there to watch over their mom, but with people have dementia and they forget who you are and they get somebody to stay there to help take care of her. The mother can get violent and fight them and cause other type of issuesuntil you have to deal with what they’re dealing with and walk in their shoes please try not to be so judgmental about the situation
