This is so crazy to see cause that happened to my mouth in 2018 and I worked as a daycare teacher at the time and they told me hand foot and mouth and gave me the same magic mouth wash. A week later I had strep and a week after that I had a DVT blood clot from my toes to my pelvis . (Idk if that was related but the strep def was ) and now in 2025 since I don’t think it was actually HFMD I still get swollen lips and blistering if I get a cut or bite my lip / chapped lips where the blistering and swelling was the first time

my 7 year old had this for 3 weeks and they said it was a virus and will go away on its own. she was throwing up and had fevers. had to give ibuprofen and puke meds.

I saw something similar on a friend but it ended up being Stephen Johnson Syndrome, it was an reaction to the antibiotic.
