I had been trying to be a good friend for a person with BPD for 8 years. But constant disrespect to my boundaries and adding more drama and stress to me when I had big difficulties of my own cost me too much of my emotional and even physical health. I couldn't continue anymore. I constantly felt emotionally unsafe in that friendship. Yes, I understand it's a disorder, and I don't despise these people. But someone has to protect me too... And the only person who can do that is me.

I ended a friendship where I reconnect easily with her since we both go to the same school In elem, middle, and high school. I found her quiet unique as she wasn't energetic nor dull. her not being smart enough helps me as I wanna be an educator and me educating her helps me. But I ended it as I thought she was going to left me since I think she felt uncomfortable at me at that time. Now I heavily regret it

When I was younger, even up to a couple years ago, I had a hard time with making super close friends (I thought) and then them ghosting me. I had to look within and really work on myself so I can have healthy friendships/relationships. 💕

I ended my friendship with a girl who has bpd, and omg she was so clingy and literally has no life. She just texts me all the time and made me feel suffocated.
