i’m a recruiter and gen z in the workplace is something else. one guy asked me (a recruiter) if he’d have to pass a drug test bc he just smoked a joint that morning. After meetings and our supervisor would ask if anyone had any questions my gen z coworker would legit raise her hand and say “yes your MOM” and bust out laughing 😒

I’ve been teaching my 4 year old you need to acknowledge people meaning if I call your name you say something “yes” “what” “mom” ect this is the same concept you say hi to acknowledge you got the call
