@remington.duke: The Great Lakes Narrative hinges entirely on the notion that our civilization built these Water Intake Stations in the already existing lakes 30 years before the invention of power tools and no ability of transferring vital oxygen to the tunnels being dug through the water (coffer dams) through 200 ft of sediment under the lakes back 2,4,5 miles back to shore. Impossible. The narrative is flawed. The water intake stations were built before the water was there. That shows planning by design. There were no lighthouses built, nor ant shoreline townships established or surveys performed prior to the early 1800's. First shio wreck was the Invincible in 1816 and 25,000 shipwrecks recorded after that. There were so many because it was uncharted waters of a very new lake system and this is supported by the lack of the presence of the largest body of freshwater on the Cartography Maps preceding the 18th century.
