Should I cut the flowers off mine to help it recover? It dried out too much while away and all the leaves dried up and got blown off in the wind ☹️

I tried taking a cutting off a hydrangea, took it by a leaf node, took all leaves off except top ones, cut them in half, used some root liquid etc and this happened….. (please help)

I used to rescue animals like it was my full time job 🤣. Now I rescue plants. Im so judging in the garden section at the shop and question why the worker hasnt properly cared for the plants. love a good plant rescue !

this is great Ish, question, I have a 1st year hydrangea that only flowered for a short time, I've deadheaded but do I cut the stems right back or leave them as is, I have about 4-5 rows down of leafs per steam. just want to make her happy but can't seem to find much online about 1st year cutting.
