Hi I am currently buying a property of 750k and they asked for 55k for tranfere fees and I said I only have half So they Added 30k to The bond When I recieved papers R30k is for the tranfere attoneys and 20k for bond attoneys

I purchased a property for R480 000 and I was charged R21 172 for transfer fees and R19 132 for fees to attorneys which included deeds office fees.

What happens if you no longer afford to pay the bond? If myb you lost or got retrenched in past few years and you were managing even after retrenchment..what will happen?

Hi Francois, is it possible to change the transfer attorneys when you’ve already signed an OTP and gotten a quote from the bank? I feel like their fees are a bit steep for a property that cost 650k and I want to get comparison quotes from other Attorneys
