The Catholic Church is a Church of truth, Doctrine, morality, Sacred tradition and Apostolic continuity. What we do at the Altar is not something we should redesign simply because another Christian tradition has become popular or because a particular style attracts a large audience. There is nothing wrong with joyful worship, beautiful music or genuine expressions of faith. But Catholic worship must always remain Christ-centred, Eucharistic and faithful to the Church’s liturgical norms. When a priest begins to receive more attention during liturgical celebrations, something deserves serious reflection. When the congregation becomes more fascinated by the priest’s personality, dramatic gestures, dancing skills, extraordinary manifestations or claimed miracles than by Christ present in the Blessed Sacrament, we must ask ourselves: Who is truly at the centre? Christ or the minister? Even during Adoration, we must remember that we are before the Eucharistic Lord. Adoration is not a stage for personalities or performances. It is an encounter with Christ. And as Catholics, we must learn to discern spirits. Not every claimed miracle is necessarily from God. Not every dramatic manifestation is evidence of the Holy Spirit. Not everything that produces excitement produces spiritual growth. St. Padre Pio is often remembered for extraordinary spiritual gifts, but his life was deeply rooted in prayer, sacrifice, obedience, the Sacraments and profound reverence for Christ. Our priests are human and can make mistakes. When a brother priest is corrected privately by other priests or superiors, humility should encourage him to listen and examine himself rather than deliberately choosing popularity over obedience. Our Bishops also have the responsibility of safeguarding the sacred liturgy and guiding priests when practices begin to move away from the mind of the Church. And to us Catholics: please, stop following the crowd blindly. Do not defend everything simply because it is done by a priest you admire. Love your priests, pray for them, but also love the truth enough to recognize when something is wrong. And to those who attack every Catholic priest who speaks about reverence, doctrine and discipline: disagreement does not automatically make someone ignorant or hateful. Sometimes correction is necessary precisely because we love the Church. Let us return to the heart of Catholic worship: CHRIST. THE EUCHARIST. THE SACRED LITURGY. THE TRUTH HANDED DOWN TO US. May our worship never become priest-centred when it is supposed to be Christ-centred. #adacatholic #catholictiktok #CatholicFaith #catholicpriest #Apostolic
