Add the lamb shank and stock. Cover tightly and cook on low heat for 3.5 to 4 hours (or 160°C/320°F in the oven). Add Figs: In the final 30 minutes, add halved figs to the sauce and allow them to soften and absorb flavour. Glaze & Serve: Once done, place on a white bowl or board.
