I suspect that the investigation committee, which includes Americans, issued this conclusion in order to protect the reputation of the aircraft manufacturer—possibly after receiving a sum of money. Otherwise, it is simply not possible that the pilot or co-pilot would deliberately cut off the fuel supply.

Why is it even possible for a pilot to manually cut off the fuel during a flight? This option should be locked out during flight. Why would a pilot ever need to cut off the fuel, except when the plane is on the ground?

il computer controlla tutto il sistema di accensione e spegnimento ,i pulsanti sono solo meccanici ma è il computer che decide se spegnere i motori e in fase di decollo non dovrebbe permetterlo.

Why couldn’t Boeing make it impossible to switch off fuel ⛽️supply to engines during take off, because why would a switch off of fuel supply at take off ever be necessary?? Never!! So, easy solution, make a cut off of fuel supply impossible during take off and even during the entire flight.
