To anybody wondering why she’s so expressive, maybe stop and think for a second at how hard women of color have had to fight for inclusion in the makeup industry. You can find a million fair and light shades in every brand. But finding more than one or two shades for darker-skinned individuals is rare. While things have improved SOME as far as shade exclusivity, we’re still not even close to where we should be. Let her be excited. Let her express herself. She deserves the right to feel represented.
