New runner here. Instinctively zone 2 feels like it’s not a great tool to push myself. I’m noticing progress doing tempo runs in zone 3 and 4. I’m also incorporating short intervals to keep my hr in those zones. Anything you would recommend?

the further i’ve run is a half marathon and i can do 5km at exactly 25min. how do you suggest for me to move forward with my training. trying to squeeze everything for my first marathon next spring. i currently do two 7km zone 2 run, a long run and an interval(which i hate).
