Sorry to be the bearer of bad news... these are containment fields for bitumen...oil...leaking out of the ground. It's all over the planet. This is a Tar Sands processing area. This is a global catastrophe and the continuous leaking has been going on for generations. This is what happens when you just blast areas with explosives and wait for the oil to come to you -- no need to drill. Now it's out of control and they can't contain it or scrape it up fast enough. It just pours into lakes, rivers, and the ocean. 👀
