the only time my mother used Avon was when her friend was selling it and she felt obligated to buy it. my mother wore Shalimar Perfume! it was the one luxury she wanted when my father and her business finally took off, it was her favorite until the end. now I ingratiated to my family for they spoil me, the last bottle of Shalimar I received my son paid over $350 for it. my favorite Shalimar item is one I bought an auction from the 1950s. in the original packaging.
