lowkey if you can negotiate a little higher pay, you could get your bsn and take the nclex and then just be a nanny for a while! take a break after nursing school for a bit, new grad programs will take you for that whole first year usually!!

I spent my first summer of college working an office job in an air conditioned basement and I HATED IT. I have made it my life’s purpose to spend every summer since then either with kids or working on a farm. Nannying in the summer is the absolute best! Keep nannying it as long as you can or want to, if it brings you joy. You bring incredible value to the families you work for, and those relationships can last the rest of your life 🥰

Medical ins. Respect from the community. I’m an ECE. Love my job but no $. No respect. And it’s draining. I’m sure nursing is draining as well. It’s hard to be someone who just wants to be a care taker.
