@burningbushfarm: #creatorsearchinsights Ever wonder why bees do this? 🐝 This is called bearding- when bees gather outside the hive in a big cluster to cool things down inside. Basically it’s bee air conditioning! You’ll usually see it on hot, humid days when the hive needs some extra ventilation. Anything you can do to help? Yes actually! One of our hives (not this one unfortunately) actually has a screened bottom board from @beecastleus which REALLY helps with ventilation in the hive- that hive was not bearding at all.
