And, of course, never EVER, EVER leave them in the car on a hot day

Always, ALWAYS put your puppers in seat belts with a sturdy seat belt harness. Would you let your human children be lose in a moving car? Protecting them protects others in the car, too.💙

Remember- crates are best for the car, but anything is better than nothing. Use a harness or a seatbelt- you pup should NEVER been riding loose in the car.

Should not let them hang their head out of the car. You don’t know how many times eye damage is done even by bugs hitting their eyes.

I wish you would highlight the dangers of allowing dog(s) to hang out of car windows while the vehicle is in motion. Countless dogs have been thrown from vehicles when the driver hits a bump or has an accident. Otherwise, I love your work.

the day after I adopted Gloria, we were in a car accident when someone ran a stop sign across a highway and I t-boned them. If she wasn't seat belted in the back seat...well, we can all guess. I broke 5 bones and many other injuries, Gloria walked away unscathed. Please seat belt your dog!

Your dog hangs out the window like that. It is so unsafe. If you have to suddenly swerve, your dog could fall out of the vehicle. They can also get eye injuries from dirt and debris. Do not recommend doing this. Keep your dog safe in your vehicle by using a harness or an impact crate.

We moved from Nebraska to Arizona. My husband took my boys and all our stuff. After the first day we realized I needed to travel a lot slower as I had the dogs. With stops my husband took 3 days. With stops I took 5 days. They did get to see a whole lot of awesome attractions.

Tip 6: Don’t let your dog hang out the window. Road debris, people tossing stuff out of passing vehicles can get thrown into their face and case eye injury. Also, they can jump out of the vehicle when you least expect it, almost getting hit by a bus and causing an $86 vet bill. Thank God it wasn’t serious!

When we went to Spokane and back home with our doxie Arya, she insisted she be placed on a pillow right behind my husband so she could watch him drive. It was adorable. She never got in his lap, but she wanted to be right next to his head while he drove us around.
