@theferal_faerie: CHAGA CHAGA!! *Frat boy chant voice* What’s up everybody!! Let me introduce you to Chaga! Chaga is a type of fungi that grows in cold climates (snows in the winter) Chaga grows on dying/dead birch trees. If you are in the woods, check the birches on north facing slopes 😉 anywho, Chaga is loaded with antioxidants (one of the highest sources known to mankind) also high in superoxide dismutase & polyphenols which are known to neutralize free radicals in the body! Chaga is also one POTENT anti-inflammatory. An example of inflammation related diseases are things like arthritis & IBS, google “inflammation related diseases” and you’ll be blown away! Chaga can also help regulate blood sugar since it’s loaded with beta-glucans & polysaccharides. Making a tea of of this amazing mycelium is absolutely worth it, but if you have the time & interest, you can really take it up a notch by making a double extraction tincture with it! Not to mention, a 4oz bottle of this sells for $20 so save yourself some serious money here because this is a lot more than 4oz I’m making for the cost of an everclear bottle!! In this video I show you how to do the alcohol portion, in PT2 we’ll cover how to make the water portion & combine! #fyp #explore #herbalism #herbalmedicine #herbal #chaga #tincture #foraging #humor #Hiking
