Why do lawyers always want there clients to say guilty when it’s not true? But the attorneys say to client they need to say guilty cause they will get a higher sentence ! Does that make sense

How is it that a prosecutor can charge somebody with something that cannot be shown as a fact, example someone texting someone else something not knowing who sent it to the person how can a prosecutor say the person that owns that phone sent it when anybody could have picked up that phone and sent it to whomever
