@sheepdogpaddy: @Chicago Athletic Association is THEEEEEE hotel in Chicago! It’s a beautifully restored space with so much history and character. It was number one on my list when looking at hotels. Super convenient downtown directly across from the Bean! And a short walk to the Riverwalk and the Navy Pier. Our room was so cute. The details were so well thought through and matched the sports vibe. A spotlight style pendant in the middle of the room to give a boxing ring feel. (Also how rare is it to get a hotel room with overhead lighting, so love 😆) the pommel horse bench was the cutest touch! Their mini bar was almost impossible not to break into with sooo many options of different cocktails and drink options! They had three different places to eat in the hotel, which made it sooo convenient! @Cindy’s Rooftop ALWAYS had a line with outside guests, but staying at the hotel, you get first access! 👏👏👏 Their main lobby has a beautiful library and super fun game room that offers food and cocktails. Then Shake Shack as well! Which you can also order through room service, which you know I did after bed time! 😂 This is a place I would recommend over and over.
