The poor class has been feeling this for years on top of years. The only reason that more people are opening their eyes to it now is it’s affecting even middle class and some of the “higher” class. Just saying poor people’s been dealing with this for a very, very long time.. notice I didn’t say working class because some people (*cough colored, Mexican, pour white folks who never had family with money to start- cough) still worked 40 5060 hours a week for their whole life and still couldn’t afford their family needs or when they did start accumulating some of the necessities some kind of life altering situation happened and they lost everything again. 🤷♀️I agree with everything you’re saying it’s just not nothing new. I’m glad more people are being affected by it now though so hopefully change will come.

I'm really glad I took a Parent Plus loan for my daughter's college, because it will die with me and not get passed on to her. I've paid $70k on 100k and still owe $100k. I'm actually looking forward to the end now.

It is sad, we all know it. Nobody wants to talk about it because it is the reality and depressing. The best the young can do now is inherit their family homes, but that is not even guaranteed.

It’s crazy that all the generations before us worked their asses off to build this confortable like with nothing to do. They should have worked less hard and enjoyed their life. It’s a balance. Work part time and live comfortably should have been the goal. Pace ourselves
