It did not ruin the franchise my friend. Do not believe everything what review say. It went in a different direction. Similar to what Chucky did and terminator did. My only flaw the movie was, it should've been longer. The movie should've been our rated not PG-13. I'm sick and tired of robots always been traded as the bad guys. We need more good robots like Sony from iRobot and the T 800 from T2

Too early for a reboot, they should’ve kept it horror and released it earlier than summer or any other date where there’s no competition. The franchise isn’t over yet we still have a spinoff coming out next year called soulm8te, if it does well then it could possibly save the franchise from being cancelled
