With kids in the situation it completely changes things. Drop what ever you are carrying and keep hold of your child. Money is only a thing and not worth the childs safety. If they are after the child then this is where parents need to teach children what to do. Teach children to either get in your vehicle and lock the door or go back in the store. Then you can handle the situation. Always stay between the threat and the children.
