I didn’t know they had a name. I just thought it was not only an indicator but also a stop method for disabled people before they go into the street. And I say stop method because I used to get stopped on them all the time with my rollerskates. I figured if nothing else it was supposed to help people not end up in the middle of the road. I’ve also seen what the old school ones look like and I have to say I like the plate ones better. The old school ones are just the lines they imbed in the concrete, you can feel it but it’s easy to miss because it doesn’t stick out enough. I just assumed that it was common knowledge that they were to indicate where the sidewalk met a major road.

As much as I do not think he is a good person, he went on a rant due to an inconvenience. Not because their necessary bad. It was a bad taste but he did ask to be educated and honestly I would be mad too. Google is kinda bleh bec that stupid ai thing and bec u never really know and to ask a professional is act a good thing imo.i feel like he didn't mean harm (not to excuse the harm he did) and honestly I'd be upset about ice too

I learned about Helen Keller in the 3rd grade, upon learning about her we also learned what the bumps on door signs are and why there are the bubble things on the side walk. Are you smarter than a 3rd grader James? No, no u are not it’s common knowledge in my experience of life
