What really helped me in college was my google sheets with all my assignments. I had to make it for an assignment and it’s the only thing that got me a 4.0 my first year

I got a random roomate and we have gotten along really well so far, I don’t think it’s quite as bad as everyone thinks, it’s just hard bc your used to the same people and routine and new people tend to be hard

nooo get the random roommate. yes, it sometimes fails, but having your best friend be your roommate is where it ends up failing. it's often easier to set boundaries with new people than those you've known for years. and for textbooks, don't buy them in advance, but buy them if your professor brings it up. you can find an online version for free in so many places or buy it second hand to save money then sell it when you're done

i highkey would recommend the library/a study hall just bc ur bed is sooo close to u in the dorm, if ur like me, u’ll just crawl into bed instead of studying 😭 also PLS BUDGET money is scarce in college - use student discounts TO THE MAX
