The difference in maturity and immaturity is mature people do things they dont want to do because they have to, whereas immature people don't do what they should do by either avoiding it all together or make excuses for why they haven't or shouldn't have to. Maturing is taking steps to be responsible for one's actions and understanding why something needs to be done, and when it comes along it is completed or at least started.

People with low eq are basically toddlers then since they have that reasoning of attaining things via a sequence of whims. The biggest difference being they can grasp some more nuance in social dynamics and they can delay their need for immediate reward for a socially acceptable delayed reward achieved via underhanded sabotage

Survival instincts in toddlers is higher internal preservation 🥰. I keep a level measure because without certain thing's there's no point to life itself. It's my choice to make because, science hasn't caught up to explining what I'm doing, so technically right now, it isn't possible.
