I didn’t become profitable when I learned more. I became profitable when I started executing what I already knew. One of the biggest myths in trading is that profitability comes from learning more. And learning. And learning. The problem? My knowledge grew faster than my results. Eventually, I realized something uncomfortable. I didn’t need more information. I needed more execution. I already knew how to identify good setups. I already knew how to manage risk. I already knew how to journal. I already knew what I was supposed to do. I just wasn’t doing it consistently. That’s when everything changed. The traders who succeed aren’t necessarily the smartest traders. They’re the traders who can repeatedly execute a proven process without letting emotions take over. Knowledge is important.
