@elisegritsch: I just bought 2 bantam Cochins and when I went to pick them up they were all crammed in a cage together in 110 degree heat. Totally worth the 2 hour drive each way to pick them up and wish I could have taken them all!

My girls like bobbing for frozen peas like ducks do, or greens from my garden that I freeze and chop up so theyre nice and cold. And they have a MASSIVE fan they all sit infront of in the morning 🤪

Awwww poor chickies! I’m with them when it comes to heat. I, too, handle cold and snow 10 times (200 times) better than summer hot.
