That setup is based on actual market structure and institutional behavior, you’re not working against them you’re working with them. When a stock has a huge move on volume, That’s institutions hedge funds, algos putting money into the stock. when a stock consolidates after a big move it means there’s no more sellers so then the institutions buy more (they can’t buy all at once because of slippage) if you combine that with a good stop loss and trending stocks it makes way for a great strategy. investing champions like mark minervini, dan zanger and oliver kell have used this strategy to make millions.
