I don't even front. Bongo is the best music in East Africa. And I think it's because they sing in their local language. Kenyan music majority of it comes as very inauthentic coz Kenyans have associated English with superiority-especially "so called English of nose" No poetry which is the opposite with Kenyan songs from the coast. Sanaipei, Otille, Masauti, Sudi boy etc. Sauti Sol are very authentic as well with adding luhya to their songs. Anyways that is my take.
