I’ll get hit for being misogynistic for this… but I’ve NEVER had this intro from a male manager. Never had to play any ice breaker or “fun fact” games when the call is organized by a male colleague either. This is a uniquely female in the workplace characteristic. The one time I REALLY wish women were like men… start on time, stay on topic and wrap when you said you would… save the chit chat and asking about the kids and the dogs and weather for a DM on teams please 🙄

I don’t know how y’all do it in that kind of work environment. The constant zoom calls and meetings and interruptions to discuss things that don’t even contribute to the business’s mission. I wouldn’t last a day.
